Youth Movement 2006

The Blue Star Youth Movement

Founded in 2001, the goal of the Blue Star Youth Movement is to provide a safe place for teens and children to develop self-expression through creative arts, with adult guidance and companionship. Programs and workshops seek to support, add value to, and enhance the life experience of children at a crucial time of their growth into adulthood. Teachers and parents volunteer their time to share their expertise and lead afterschool programs, field trips, and community service projects on a biweekly basis.

Adopt A Chicken Project - Download Flyer (Free Adobe Acrobat Reader required)
You can help to take care of a chicken at Hilltop Hanover Farm by donating just $5 a month to Something Good in the World! Your $5 contribution to the Adopt-A-Chicken Fund will be used to feed and maintain our flock of free-ranging, organic chickens, cared for entirely by the children and families who attend our educational programs. Your donation is tax-deductible, and in return for your gift, you will receive a photo of your adopted chicken, its name and address so that you can write to or visit your chicken, and you'll receive regular reports on how your chicken is doing. If you commit to $5 a month for one full year, you will also have the privilege of collecting your very own free-range, organic eggs from our hens! To register your intention to adopt a chicken, please contact Barbara Sarbin, Educational Program Director,
